  1. Exercise really helps me when I’m stressed, I tend to go on walks a lot while listening to music to clear my head and relax! I really enjoyed reading this post it was filled with good tips x

  2. These are all such good ways of reducing stress. Sleep is so important. I definitely need to work on this one though because I don’t always get the recommended number of hours. Spending some time outdoors and breathing in the fresh air always helps me clear my mind. Thanks for sharing!

  3. I absolutely love all of these! Scheduling is my weekness, I like to make a plan of what I need to do for every day so I don’t forget and so I don’t stress myself out even more. Exercise is super important to, it really does help to clear you mind and cheer you up, even if it’s just a little walk! It also definitely helps you to sleep better when you’ve done some sort of exercise to tired yourself out physically aswell as mentally. Fab post!

  4. Fab post Ellie! I completely agree with all 5 🙂 we can sometimes get too bogged down to take time out for ourselves! I love the weekend baking idea and Sunday planning… I need to take these tips more seriously – ps the food is making me hungry 🙂

  5. I love going to the gym to lift weights when I’m stressed! I definitely need to work on getting more sleep because I work nights and find it really difficult to sleep during the day, this is all really good advice!

  6. Love this list! About to go into a rather packed/stressful week so I read this just in time. I had kind of forgotten about baking to relax since being home from uni, my little sisters like to take that job and the treats never last more than 2 days in our house ahah

  7. I’ve never really thought about baking as a remedy.. I should try that while i meal prep.

    Meal prep definitely helps me have a smooth week. Love these ideas, I plan some me time during the weekend too

  8. I’m definitely going to apply these de-stressors during my first week at my few job! My new schedule will increase my anxiety for sure, but if I know it’s coming I’m much more likely to set time aside to combat it properly. Reading before bed is a must for me! I dedicated at least 45 minutes to read and drift off. Also drinking plenty of water during the day keeps me alert and active. Such a helpful post!!

  9. These are such good tips! Sleep is definitely something I need to work on, especially cutting down my screen time. I never really think of sitting down and scheduling the week ahead but I’m going to try to fit that in now! Great post x

  11. Some great tips there – I really need to address my own sleeping pattern as it’s something I’ve always struggled with. And I’ve been feeling so run down lately! I’ve just picked up something called Metatone Tonic that is supposed to be a great pick me up but also a good aide for sleeping so fingers crossed!

  12. This is such a great post! Sometimes I just stress myself out for no reason so I think I’ll need to start using some of these tips! I especially like the tip to start baking, I used to bake a lot but I need to start making some more time for it! X

  13. I love all of these tips. Having a schedule is super helpful because you know what’s going on and don’t need to stress to remember. LOVE your bullet journal, by the way!

    I always tell people to have some “me time”. I skipped it a few times and I became super grumpy – TREAT YO SELF, PLEASE! It will do everyone some good. I find exercise and sleep go hand to hand. Exercising helps you feel more tired so you can sleep more XD.

Scheduling definitely makes sure I’m not feeling unnecessary stress – sometimes I find myself saying ‘oh I’ll remember that!’ but actually adding it to my schedule in my notes or on my literal calendar is so much better and stress-free! Also wow you have such neat handwriting!! I’ve been trying to get better at setting some ‘me-time’ – I’m either working, blogging or thinking of both. I’ve just ordered a few books from the library as a way to give my brain a break and to relax more. I’m not much of a baker, but it is fun to mess around in the kitchen to bake some sweets! Your brownies looks absolutely delicious, and wait a second black beans? I’ve never heard of using that in dessert before!

    Exercise! Yes! I’m a 5000M runner and it’s just so great to just run in nature and let my mind wander, extremely relaxing and it definitely improves my mood a lot – always happier once I go for a run!

  16. Weekend baking is honestly so relaxing and fun! I think that’s such a unique tip. I like being kept busy, and baking does just that while also getting some sweet treats in the end! Planning and organizing is a big thing for me too, makes everything so much easier so you know what you’re going to be doing. Awesome post!
